The Jaguars announced Sunday that RB Leonard Fournette was activated for Week 9’s game due to a violation of team rules.
“Fournette is not playing today due to an infraction of a team rule. This has been addressed internally,” Doug Marrone said.
Field Yates reports that one of the reasons why Fournette was deactivated was because he skipped the team’s photo earlier this week.
Jay Glazer reports that Fournette also missed treatment and a workout this week, which is why he was benched.
- Despite designating rookie WR Dede Westbrook to return from injured reserve this week, the Jaguars did not activate him on Saturday, which means he’s officially out for Week 9.
