NFL Draft: Decision day arrives for Jaguars

The draft is rich with defensive talent, and the Jaguars need to prioritize that part of their team.

The old defensive coordinator in coach Gus Bradley has to be fired up, right?

“I don’t think of it that way,” Bradley said last week. “For me, it’s training myself to [say], ‘What’s best for the organization?’ For that reason, if someone is rated higher and it’s an offensive player and it’s best for the future, it’s, ‘Let’s stay true to our philosophy and belief.’”

What’s best for the organization: Using a majority of its eight picks on defense, including the fifth overall section in Thursday night’s first round.
