New England coach Bill Belichick conducted a conference call with Times-Union reporters Ryan O’Halloran and me on Tuesday. The Jaguars (1-1) travel to face the Patriots (2-0) on Sunday after defeating Miami 23-20 in Week Two.
Belichick weighed in on several topics, which will appear in multiple stories this week in the Times-Union. Here are his comments on Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles.
“Bortles creates a lot of problems for you,” Belichick said. “I felt last week against Miami was another good example of the overall effectiveness of the offense: decision making, no sacks and no turnovers. He’s able to make plays with his feet.
