When the Jacksonville Jaguars traded up in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft to take UCLA linebacker Myles Jack, it was viewed as a calculated risk with a lot of potential reward. There were concerns about Jack’s knee leading up to the draft and a player many thought would be a Top 10 pick, ended up in the second round. After the 2016 season, which saw Jack struggle to even get on the field, a lot of people wondered if the team could have better used that second round pick, but so far in the 2017 NFL season with Jack as a full-time starter, it appears the correct decision was made.
