NASHVILLE – The season is now over for the Jaguars – at least in terms of making a stunning playoff run.
The Jaguars scored 39 points, but it shockingly wasn’t enough as Tennessee rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota led the Titans to a 42-39 win on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.
Jaguars kicker Jason Myers missed an extra point after the team’s first touchdown. Coach Gus Bradley then went for the two-point conversion on the team’s second touchdown. That pass failed.
Myers then missed another extra point in the fourth quarter.
Those three points were the difference in the game for the Jaguars (4-8), allowing the Titans (3-9) to snap an 11-game losing streak at home.
