With the conference title games this weekend, the Jacksonville Jaguars are one of 28 teams in full blown offseason mode. The defense is still stout — if not as productive as it was at this point last year — and Mel Kiper, Jr.’s first mock draft of the offseason says as much. There’s not even a hint that the team will be leaning defense at No. 7 overall and Kiper wonders if the team can pass on a quarterback at the top of the first round.
His answer: Yes.
With Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins off the board, Kiper believes the Jaguars to look towards their offensive line at the top of the 2019 NFL Draft.
