Matchup with future NFL WR showcased versatility Jaguars love in Myles Jack

With a game against rival USC and the assignment of covering prolific wide receiver Nelson Agholor looming in November of 2014, Myles Jack wanted to know everything.

Then a sophomore linebacker at UCLA, he went all the way back to Agholor’s high school days to watch film of his tendencies: the routes he ran most, how he got in and out of his breaks — and what Jack could do to be the most effective against him.

“It really paid off,” Jack said, you know?”

It sure did.

Agholor, who the Philadelphia Eagles would take with the 20th overall pick after he totaled 104 receptions for 1,313 yards and 12 touchdowns that season, finished with three catches (tied for fewest in a game that season) for 24 yards (fewest that season) while UCLA steamrolled to a 38-20 victory.
