Even as the losses piled up in 2013-14, the Jaguars could always count on Sen’Derrick Marks to play well at defensive tackle, seasons of four sacks/33 tackles and 81/2 sacks/44 tackles.
But then Marks experienced two figurative lightning strikes — first a torn anterior cruciate ligament at Houston Dec. 28, 2014 at Houston. Surgery followed and cost Marks the first five games of last year. Then a torn triceps tendon at Baltimore Nov. 15, 2015. Surgery followed and Marks missed the last seven games.
On track with his rehabilitation, Marks started the Jaguars’ off-season program Monday motivated to return to his disruptive self.
