NEW ORLEANS — Growing up, New Orleans Saints defensive end Tavaris Barnes was familiar with wearing a bit of gold on his jerseys at NFL games.
However, instead of sporting mostly gold, Barnes wore his Jacksonville Jaguars teal with pride.
The undrafted rookie out of Clemson will face a foreign situation with a touch of familiarity on Sunday. He'll be at a Jaguars game, but instead of rooting for his beloved Jacksonville squad, Barnes will be looking to squash the hopes of everyone on their sideline.
"It's exciting, adrenaline gets pumped up more, you get a little of anxiety thinking about the game and all of that," said Barnes.
