The NFL finally got around to handing out fines for the scuffle at the end of the Jacksonville Jaguars Seattle Seahawks game last Sunday, and there were a few surprises. First, out of the ruckus Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette ended up with the highest fine ($12,154) while Michael Bennett was not fined at all.
What?
Fournette seemed surprised by his fine on Twitter, but stated it was worth it.
Quinton Jefferson and Sheldon Richardson were each fined $9,115 for their unsportsmanlike conduct penalties that got them ejected from the game, while Seahawks offensive lineman Germain Ifedi was fined $24,309 for verbal abuse of a referee.
