According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Jaguars hope the injury will affect Thomas minimally.
Entering his fifth season in the NFL out of Portland State, Thomas is preparing for his first year with the Jaguars after spending his first four with the Denver Broncos.
After his first two seasons that saw him play nine games, Thomas burst onto the scene in 2013 with the arrival of Peyton Manning with 65 receptions for 788 yards.
