Joint practice alters game strategy for Jaguars

The Jaguars’ two practices with Tampa Bay will likely mean a lighter workload for the starters in Saturday night’s preseason game against the Buccaneers at EverBank Field.

Normally, Jaguars coach Gus Bradley plays the starters for roughly 30 snaps in the second preseason game. He said following Thursday’s practice that the staff has already looked into the amount of reps the starters will get and will finalize the plan Friday.

“It will have an impact,” Bradley said. “I do not think we will treat it like a normal second preseason game, because of the work we have done in the last two days.
