The Jaguars’ search for a defensive coordinator turned to an experienced NFL coach this weekend when Gus Bradley met with former Detroit coach and Tennessee and Buffalo defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz in Jacksonville.
A source told the Times-Union last week a Schwartz interview was imminent — but not definite — until every team’s head-coaching vacancy was filled. Fox Sports reported Sunday night Schwartz had met with the Jaguars.
But by Monday night, it became apparent the Jaguars' search will continue without Schwartz in the mix. Multiple media outlets in Philadelphia reported that Schwartz will be named the Eagles' defensive coordinator Tuesday, joining new coach Doug Pederson.
