The Jacksonville Jaguars are 2-6 heading into Week 10 and are looking to notch their first road win since December 2013 against a similarly (not so) successful squad. The Baltimore Ravens are also 2-6 and for good reason. To go along with a lot of their offensive injuries, the Ravens have had a lot of issues on defense.
The Ravens passing defense has been its biggest issue thus far. That's where the Jaguars biggest free agent signing comes into play. Tight end Julius Thomas has largely been ineffective since returning from a preseason hand injury. Part of that is on his conditioning and some of it has to do with his ever-evolving chemistry with quarterback Blake Bortles.
