JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — While most fans are focused on Allen Robinson's emergence or Marqise Lee's injury woes or even Rashad Greene's potential, Bryan Walters has just been going about his business like any other veteran fighting for a spot on a talented unit.
Walters, a former Super Champion, missed several practices during the Jaguars organized team activities due to a minor injury that he says won't stop him from competing in training camp.
"I just had a little hamstring tweak," said Walters.
"It wasn't anything bad at all, just something that keeps you out for a couple of weeks and the offseason is so short now that a couple of weeks means you're out pretty much the entire time, especially when OTAs start up.
