Receiver Allen Hurns was released from a local hospital Sunday night after sustaining a concussion in the Jaguars’ 31-25 loss to the San Diego Chargers.
The team said it will provide an update on Hurns’ status Monday.
Hurns was injured with 3:44 remaining when he hit the turf trying to catch a pass from Blake Bortles. Hurns did not move as both the Chargers’ and Jaguars’ medical staffs rushed to his side.
As Hurns was being carted into the tunnel, he gave thumbs-up with both hands.
Around 6 p.m., the Jaguars announced that Hurns had left the hospital.
