Jaguars waive Copeland, sign receiver Lora

The Jaguars waived injured receiver Damian Copeland this morning and signed receiver Erik Lora.

Copeland sustained a dislocated shoulder during Saturday’s loss to the New York Giants. He missed all of last year after injuring his wrist in the preseason.

Lora played at Eastern Illinois and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Vikings in 2014. He was released during camp and spent the year working at his high school alma mater in Miami.

This year, Lora tried out at Detroit’s rookie camp but was released during OTAs. He caught 136 and 123 passes his last two years of college.
