One night after passing on him, the Jaguars traded up two spots tonight and selected UCLA linebacker Myles Jack with the 36th pick.
The Jaguars gave Baltimore Nos. 38 and 146 (fifth rounder).
"We looked into going back into the first round late last night and possibly getting him but said, 'We don't want to part with a fourth-rounder,'" general manager Dave Caldwell said. "We want to be great and we have to take chances."
Limited to three games last fall before a practice collision resulted in a torn meniscus cartilage and surgery, Jack did not work out publicly for teams.
