Jaguars to coach in Senior Bowl for third straight year

For the third straight year, the Jaguars coaching staff will one of the team’s in the Senior Bowl.

Coach Gus Bradley and his staff will spend the week in Mobile, Ala., culminating in the game Jan. 30.

The Jaguars are the first team to coach in three straight Senior Bowls since San Francisco after the 2006-08 seasons.

The Dallas Cowboys will coach the other team and make their first appearance in the game since 1965.

The Senior Bowl has been beneficial for the Jaguars.

In January 2014, the Jaguars coached the Senior Bowl and drafted four participants: cornerback Aaron Colvin, right guard Brandon Linder, linebacker Telvin Smith and defensive end Chris Smith.
