The Jacksonville Jaguars are starting QB Chad Henne for Week 3 of the preseason on Thursday, according to Mike Kaye.
Though QB Blake Bortles will also receive first team snaps, it appears likely for Henne to start the regular season opener given that starters usually open Week 3 of the preseason.
Last week, Jaguars HC Doug Marrone said that he would determine Thursday’s starter by splitting first-team reps for Henne and Bortles throughout practice, so it appears that Henne might be moving ahead of the former No. 3 overall pick in 2014.
