The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed linebacker Telvin Smith to a four-year contract extension.

Smith has appeared in 53 career games with 47 starts since originally being drafted 144th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft. He was named a defensive captain in 2017 and was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers after finishing with a game-high 10 tackles and a 28-yard interception return for a touchdown.
