Gipson has shown in his short career he can excel in man or zone coverage, as he has graded positive in coverage for the past two years. With the amount of money involved in Gipson’s contract, he will most likely be starting at the free safety spot next year and maybe for a while as he is only 25. He had an incredible 2014 season ranking as the top coverage safety that year, but was injured at the beginning of the 2015 season, which derailed his performance.
