The Jaguars continued signing their draft picks today by inking their first seventh-round pick, receiver Neal Sterling, to a four-year contract.
Sterling spent five years at Monmouth (N.J.), a FCS program, and totaled 212 catches for 2,615 yards and 22 touchdowns in 43 games.
Sterling was drafted No. 220 by the Jaguars.
Sterling's base salary this year will be $435,000.
At 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds, Sterling was impressive last week at rookie minicamp, working in the slot and out wide. Like most low-round picks, special teams will be his initial ticket onto the 53-man roster.
