The Jaguars signed fifth-round receiver Rashad Greene on Monday, leaving only two of their eight draft picks unsigned.
Greene’s four-year contract as the 139th overall pick carries a signing bonus slot of $243,816 and a first-year salary cap figure of $495,954.
Only second-round running back T.J. Yeldon and third-round guard A.J. Cann remain unsigned.
When the Jaguars drafted safety James Sample in the fourth round on May 2, it was assumed their search for a receiver wouldn’t include Greene, who was projected to go in rounds 3-4. But Greene remained on the board and the Jaguars hope they’ve found their new slot receiver and maybe punt returner.
