JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Neal Sterling, a seventh-round draft pick from Monmouth, has signed his rookie contract.
Sterling is the second of Jacksonville's eight drafted players to sign, following first-rounder Dante Fowler Jr.
Sterling had 212 receptions for 2,615 yards and 22 touchdowns in college. He was a first-team, All-Big South selection as a senior, finishing with 55 catches for 905 yards and six touchdowns.
The New Jersey native might have a tough time making Jacksonville's opening-day roster since the team has drafted six receivers over the last three years.
