Jaguars rookie LB Myles Jack makes practice debut

Jaguars rookie linebacker Myles Jack felt the eyes on him.

From the 2,377 fans in attendance, to his 89 teammates, to the dozens of coaches, staff and media on the practice fields, everyone wanted to get a glimpse of Jack in his debut.

“He looked good out there,” Jaguars defensive end Dante Fowler said. “They had him playing at middle linebacker, but he can play anything.”

The 6-foot-1, 245-pound Jack was finally able to join his teammates as the Jaguars began their three-day mandatory mini-camp on Tuesday. The second-round pick missed all nine practices of organized team activities, because of academic rules for underclassmen that kept him away until UCLA’s classes were finished on Friday.
