JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — On draft weekend, former Syracuse defensive lineman Eric Crume's name wasn't called.
Despite being passed on in the draft, Crume has found a home with the Jacksonville Jaguars. For the undrafted rookie, Jacksonville offered the opportunity for him to compete for a roster spot against other young players while learning from some seasoned veterans.
Crume's introduction to the NFL has been an eye-opening experience, but he's taking every lesson in stride.
"[I've learned] just how to be a professional, you've got to care of business when it's time," said Crume, who had 17 sacks in his four-year career at Syracuse.
