JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars shook up the team's roster prior to the its Week 2 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
The team released veteran wide receiver Bryan Walters on Saturday to make room for cornerback Peyton Thompson, who was elevated from the practice squad.
Walters led the team in receiving during the preseason and had two catches for 17 yards in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers. At 27, he was the oldest player in the wide receiver room.
Thompson has been with the Jaguars since last season. He played two games for the Jaguars last year and returned for training camp this past offseason.
