Jaguars receiver Robinson among Pro Bowl snubs

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It's safe to say that Jaguars receiver Allen Robinson might be one of the most glaring snubs from the 2016 Pro Bowl selections announced Tuesday night.

The second-year receiver's in the midst of a breakout season that has seen him pile up more than 1,000 receiving yards and a league-leading 13 touchdown catches. But those numbers apparently didn't convince voters, who instead named Robinson a first alternate for the Jan. 31 game.

Chosen ahead of him were Arizona's Larry Fitzgerald, Atlanta's Julio Jones, Cincinnati's A.J. Green, Detroit's Calvin Johnson, the Giants' Odell Beckham, Houston's DeAndre Hopkins, the Jets' Brandon Marshall and Pittsburgh's Antonio Brown.
