Marqise Lee’s third season looked potentially derailed by another injury when he hurt his hamstring in the first practice of training camp.
However, he has already put the setback behind him.
Lee returned to practice Monday and had a good performance in Thursday’s preseason opener at the New York Jets. He caught four passes for 49 yards, playing 17 snaps. Each reception came in the second quarter from backup quarterback Chad Henne.
“I need to continue to build from here,” Lee said. “My main focus is staying healthy. As an offense, we have to build. We had a lot of errors out there that we need to improve on and we will over the preseason.
