Jaguars re-sign Abry Jones to one-year contract

A day after teammate Ryan Davis signed his one-year contract offer, Jaguars restricted free agent defensive tackle Abry Jones did the same. Like Davis, Jones’ deal is worth $2.553 million.

Jones, a former undrafted free agent out of Georgia, made $585,334 last year.

Jones will be 25 when this season opens. He has 64 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 39 games (two starts). He played the first 15 games in 2015 (359 snaps) before a knee injury forced him to miss the season finale.

Jones is expected to again provide depth at the interior line positions.
