Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon said he sprained MCL against Colts

Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon said in the locker room today he sustained a sprained right MCL in Sunday’s win over Indianapolis.

Asked if he’ll play in the final three games, Yeldon said: “I’m hoping for next week [at New Orleans]. Hopefully I can get back this week, but we’ll see.”

Yeldon said it was “a very big relief,” to get the results of the MRI that resulted in no major damage.

Yeldon said he initially injured the knee on a play earlier in the game.

“I got rolled up on [during] a pass play and that actually messed up my knee and ankle,” he said.
