The Jaguars conducted a press conference with five of their eight draft picks on Thursday prior to the start of rookie minicamp on Friday.
Three of the offensive players – third-round guard A.J. Cann, fifth-round receiver Rashad Greene and seventh-round receiver Neal Sterling – said quarterback Blake Bortles quickly texted them after they were selected.
"Blake Bortles actually texted me Saturday when I was picked up," Sterling said. "He said he is excited for me to be here. He's ready to go and we've got to pick it up and go get after it when we start up.
