The Jacksonville Jaguars will be placing starting middle linebacker Myles Jack on injured reserve today, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Jack missed the first game of his NFL career last Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a knee injury and many speculated that Jack could just end up in injured reserve with the 2019 season essentially over and done with. It looks like that is the direction the Jaguars are going, just shutting him down for the remainder of the season.
Ironically, the loss of Jack might actually improve the defensive front seven, considering the type of season Jack was having.
