Shad Khan is committed to keeping the Jaguars in Jacksonville.
That means extending the contract to play a home game in London well into the future.
Khan updated the team’s plan in London following a kickoff luncheon Tuesday at EverBank Field. He is hopeful to extend the London contract for well over a decade, securing the franchise’s long-term future in Jacksonville. The London home game accounts for 15 percent of the team’s local revenue.
“Nothing definitive, but I’m optimistic we’ll have a renewal on that and go for a long time,” Khan said. “We would like it to be long-term like 2030.
