The Jaguars have signed fifth-round (165th overall) selection Collin Johnson and sixth-round (206th overall) selection Tyler Davis to their rookie deals, the team announced on Thursday.
Both players will be signed to a typical four-year contract as part of the NFL-NFLPA collective bargaining agreement.
Johnson, 6-foot-6, 212 pounds, will play a key role with the Jaguars offense, often used in the redzone where the team and quarterback Gardner Minshew II will be able to take care of his height advantage. As a four-year starter at Texas, Johnson hauled in 188 passes for 2,624 yards and 15 touchdowns.
