JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — When the Jacksonville Jaguars made the move to sign tight end Julius Thomas, the fanbase and local media expected him to be the focal point of the team's offense.
Due to a hand injury and a bit of bad luck, Thomas has taken a backseat. The veteran and former Pro Bowl selection missed the first four regular season games of his Jaguars tenure and has not been much of a factor when on the field in the three contests he's played in.
That's not what you'd expect from a tight end who caught 108 passes for 1,277 passing yards and 24 touchdowns over the last two seasons.
