Playing time helping Smith
Chris Smith has been the busiest member of the Jaguars’ defense through two preseason games.
Don’t expect that to change this week.
Smith, a reserve defensive end, has played the most snaps (88 total against the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers) of any defensive player, and coach Gus Bradley suggested Tuesday that Smith will again have a large role against Cincinnati.
“He’s been impressive,” Bradley said after the Jaguars’ non-padded practice. “Look to him to get a little bit more opportunity even this week.
