Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon said Wednesday he sustained a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee during Sunday’s win over Indianapolis.
Yeldon didn’t practice Wednesday and is unlikely to play Sunday against Atlanta although coach Gus Bradley labeled him as “day to day.”
“I’m hoping for next week [at New Orleans],” Yeldon said. “Hopefully I can get back this week, but we’ll see.”
Yeldon wore a brace on the knee but didn’t need crutches to get around the locker room.
Without Yeldon, the Jaguars would turn to Denard Robinson, Joe Banyard and newly-signed Jonas Gray at tailback.
