Jaguars receiver Allen Robinson was politically correct Wednesday talking about being a Pro Bowl first alternate and not on the original roster despite his 13 touchdown catches, which are tied for the NFL lead.
“That wasn’t my main focus this year,” Robinson said. “It’s really an honor to be an alternate and in that category. A lot of people said I should have gotten in, but this is how it played out.”
To make the trip to Hawaii, Robinson needs one of the eight receivers to drop out of the Jan. 31 game because of injury or because they’re playing in the Super Bowl.
