Jaguars Notebook: Plenty of interest in Miami-Florida State game

The Jaguars locker room has several former Florida State and Miami standouts.

The trash talk was flowing freely on Friday on the eve of the two teams renewing their rivalry Saturday night in Tallahassee.

The Seminoles contingent consists of linebacker Telvin Smith and receiver Rashad Greene. Miami is represented on the Jaguars roster by receiver Allen Hurns, guard Brandon Linder and linebacker Thurston Armbrister.

Each player is in their second year or a rookie in the NFL, so the FSU-Miami rivalry remains fresh. Smith and Greene hold the trump card in bragging rights — a five-game win streak in the series.
