Not all bad news — Yeldon looks good
The injury to defensive end Dante Fowler left a grim mood at the Jaguars’ opening practice of rookie minicamp, but there were positives smaller in scope on Friday.
Namely T.J. Yeldon.
The second-round running back exhibited many of the characteristics Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell and coach Gus Bradley talked about after drafting him.
“T.J. looked pretty smooth,” Bradley said. “A lot of the same things that we saw on tape. His ability to make quick decisions, spontaneous decisions, his instincts.
