Jaguars strong safety Johnathan Cyprien made it clear Thursday how valuable middle linebacker Paul Posluszny is to the team.
“Not enough words could explain what Poz is to this defense,” Cyprien said. “It’s great to have him back, so great.”
Posluszny missed the last nine games last season after tearing a pectoral muscle in a win over Cleveland on Oct. 19. He played 485 of the defense’s 1,120 snaps.
Now, the nine-year veteran with 1,063 career tackles, is back to man the middle when the Jaguars open training camp Friday.
“Body-wise, I feel great,” Posluszny said.
