Hamstring slows down WR Lee
Having missed nine games and countless practices because of injury in his first two NFL seasons, Jaguars receiver Marqise Lee sustained another setback Thursday when he felt left hamstring discomfort.
Lee was injured when he took a hand-off in team drills, was shut down for the remainder of that practice and missed Friday’s workout.
Coach Gus Bradley was optimistic Lee wouldn’t miss significant time.
Bradley said the injury won’t keep Lee out “for an extended period of time,” but did not provide a timetable.
“We are going to be cautious with it and make sure that we do our due diligence,” Bradley said.
