The Jaguars’ defense won’t enter the regular season with much momentum after an alarming performance in the third preseason game.
The Lions averaged over 10 yards a play in the first half on Friday night at EverBank Field. Quarterback Matthew Stafford led 85-yard and 95-yard touchdown drives in the first half.
The Lions needed 24 plays to gain 242 yards in the first two quarters. They got going after being forced to punt on their first two drives.
There were plenty of explosive plays after that as Stafford had plenty of time of throw.
