The Jaguars put up little resistance against Pittsburgh’s starting offense Friday night at EverBank Field.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger needed six plays to take Pittsburgh 80 yards for a game-opening touchdown. Roethlisberger connected with receiver Martavis Bryant for a 44-yard touchdown.
Bryant easily beat cornerback Davon House, a free-agent addition this offseason. House was called for holding on the play as well, but was beaten by several steps as Bryant cruised to the end zone. Roethlisberger faced little pressure in the pocket, running play-action to running back Le’Veon Bell to slow the rush.
