Blake Bortles showed the type of quarterback he is when he dived into the end zone on a fourth-down play in the second quarter of the Jaguars’ preseason opener against Pittsburgh on Friday night.
Bortles touched the pylon with the ball to get the touchdown, but it’s a risky move for a quarterback to dive like that.
Jaguars coach Gus Bradley wasn’t upset that Bortles took the chance.
“Someone said did you lose your breath a little bit when that happened?’’ Bradley said. “One of his greatest attributes is that he plays with the absence of fear.
