I know it hasn’t been 24 hours since the news broke that the Jacksonville Jaguars will ink Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles to a four-year, $88 million contract on Wednesday, but a thought occured to me that was further discussed by Joe Romano of FanSided.com.
Would the Jaguars still gamble on taking a quarterback with the seventh pick in the 2019 NFL Draft? Does grabbing Dwayne Haskins of Ohio State make sense or would the team trade down in the first round to take a Daniel Jones or Drew Lock as “insurance” that the quarterback position remains sound for the coming season?
