In Week 3, the Jacksonville Jaguars did something they had failed to do in recent years: Come out of a close game with a win. Although they led throughout most of the bout, the Houston Texans kept things close until the end. It wasn't until Antonio Johnson picked off C.J. Stroud late in the fourth quarter that the outcome of the divisional matchup was clear.
And that's the thing, the Jags often came close during the Doug Pederson era, but failed to deliver more often than not. First-year head coach Liam Coen buck the trend with a 17-10 win over the Texans.
