Jaguars may have an edge at quarterback in seven of their games

A good rule of thumb for most NFL games is that the team with the edge at quarterback has an edge in the game.

That is why it is noteworthy that in seven of their 16 games this year, the Jaguars will either seem to have an edge with Blake Bortles at quarterback or at least seem about even.

To start with, they play two games against Tennessee and one against Tampa Bay and both have indicated they will go with rookie quarterbacks. Marcus Mariota is likely to get the nod at quarterback for the Titans and Jameis Winston seems set as the Tampa Bay quarterback.
